A beach not so well known, it retaines a special beauty. There is a small road in the village Thiramona which leads to this beach. The beach is quite large, has crystal blue waters, a few sunbeds and a beach bar that makes fantastic souvlakis. The sand is yellow-gold and the entire scenery resmbles exotic destinations.

Katelios

Katelios beach is very long and in in essence an extension of the main road on which are many restaurants and caffes. Services offered include sunbeds and a beach bar, while it's shallow waters make it a good choice for families with young children. The majestic part of this beach is it's enchanting view of the Ionian stretching all the way to Zakinthos island.

Kaminia - Mounda

Kaminia beach is located in the village Rajakli. It's extension is called Mounda. It is the beach of choice for the famed and rare sea turtle Caretta-Caretta. Kaminia, two beaches separated by rocks, have dark sand and very shallow waters. They have sunbeds, a beach bar, and ample parking space. Just past the second Kamini beach is Mounda beach which has yellow sand, is quiet but the waters are not so shallow. Many people prefer it for skinny dipping.

The longest beach on the island approximately 5klm in length, has been awarded the blue flag from the EU several times. The waters are deep blue, and extremely clear. It combines pebbles and sand and has an outstanding seabed. Services include sunbeds, WC, watersports, and is hanicap-friendly with ramps and exit points everywhere. On the road just above the beach are countless caffes, resstaurants, bars, and some of the Islads most beautiful and luxurious hotels.

Kako Lagadi

Kako Lagadi is a small beach, a gulf between Skala and Poros with very clean waters and golden sand. Access to this beach is through a path. There are countless such gulfs along this route, besides Kako Lagadi.

Poros

Besides its many tourists, the village of Poros has a beautifull 2 klm long beach with white pebbles and green-blue waters and is surrounded by little bays. It is prefered by families because the sea is calm and without many currents. Above the beach, on the main road are numerous shops and restaurants.
