Sami - Karavomilos - Agia Efimia

One of the Island's most popular and cosmopolitan beaches, Antisamos has it all; sunbeds, acres of parking, a huge beach-bar-restaurant offering a wide selection of food, watersoprts and of course, crystal deep blue extra clear waters. The sea floor is quite steep and thats why its waters are deep blue. This peculiar seabed is well worth exploring with snorckling gear. Also, due to its seabed, many prefer it for spear-fishing as well. During the summer months, it hosts many people but the scenery where the sea meets the evergreen mountains creates an idyllic atmosphere that you hsould not miss at any cost! Also it is famed for its appearance in hollywood blockbuster movie "Kaptain Corelli's Mandolin" with Nicholas Cage and Penelope Crouz.

Karavomilos beach ir right next to the omomymous village, in the area of Sami. It is a small beach with shallow waters. Right next to the beach is the lake's watermill, which makes the area so famous.

Agia Efimia is small with white pebbles. Families prefer this beach because it has shallow waters. Along the main road above the beach, are restaurants that serve fresh fish. Adjacent is the marina, hosting countless sail-boats etc. When in Agia Efimia though it is best to rent a boat and explore the numerous little gulfs with the crystal clear waters in between Agia Efimia and Sami.
